Spoken word and hip/hop rap with a modern day R&B overtone collaboration is a rare commodity amongst the emerging Contemporary genre of Christian/Gospel music. Their style, music, and beats are something that is edgy, real, and vibrant. The lyrics speak of real life experiences that these young women have endured. The transparency of their afflictions, trials, and problems are surreal. Yet, the revelation of their breakthrough, lessons learned, and triumphs leave listeners encouraged, hopeful and wanted to hear more.

Coming together as friends and using their gifts in music ministry became a reality recently as the group signed with Indie Label, GOoDy Music Entertainment Group. Working with one of the Industry’s Hottest Productions Teams “VonGantt Productions” Their first single release is anticipated in 2014. In the short time that the group has been together, they have set fire to Southern Callifornia, Purpose has ministered in churches and venues throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and San Diego Counties. “Purpose is unique and able to attract the attention of those who may not walk through the church doors” explains Tiahny. “Yet, our lyrics are the word of God. Therefore those who listen will hear the word and be encouraged” Iehko finishes.

Purpose has the complete package for today’s evolving Christian Music world. The duo has presence, poise, energy, fashion, and most importantly a fire for God. The infusion of spoken word, rap, vocals and song writing brings variety to each project. They are multidimensional in their gifts and talents. There is no doubt that this group is emerging into a great ministry, or in their viewpoint, a great PURPOSE.
